Research Of City Water Space Design Method Based On The Concept Of Low Impact Development

Many ancient capitals and cities in the world were built along the riverside and flourished by water.As a city interface and water interface intertwined zone,the water space has a higher ecological sensitivity.The paper starts from the low-impact development concept and summarizes the development process of water space and the theory of waterfront development.The paper first defines the spatial influence and scope of urban waters,selects the typical urban central area watershed field survey,explores the low development process of urban water space,and draws down the low impact development concept and the multi-scale water space.In addition,the core content of the research focus on the urban design method of urban space low-impact development: to conduct a holistic control to respect the natural design for the premise to meet the needs of people,set the function priority,aesthetic,human care and sustainable development of the design.According to the classification of design elements,to guide the organization of elements.Starting from the vital water elements,they gradually expand to shoreline elements,transportation elements,green space open space elements,architectural community elements and so on,with the elements complementing and permeating each other.Using technical application part to complete the scientific and operational verification.Selecting the technical facilities suitable for the construction of water space,estimate the implementation costs of the measures,carry out technical verification and partial amendments.Finally,through illustrating the urban design projects that the author is involved in,this paper proves the feasibility and scientific nature of low-impact urban design methods for the development of urban design.Through holistic control,guidance of the organization of the elements,and technical application to optimize the design of urban water space which aim to guide the design of contemporary urban ecological function space,and establish a green and sustainable urban water space.
