This thesis designs and implements a ground test equipment for space-borne image compression system,which is used to complete various tests and tests of data compression unit.The device has the function of camera input,i.e.,analog image data of space-borne camera and input to compression unit;receiving and decoding function,i.e.,receiving compression data from compression unit and transmitting to decoding device;remote sensing and remote control function,i.e.,reading and controlling the working state of compression unit through third-party equipment;and verification function,i.e.,verifying compression result.This thesis designs the model,hardware and software system of the test system,focusing on automation and processing rate of the test equipment.Firstly,aiming at the test requirements of compression unit,a test model based on data-driven and function-driven is designed,which is the abstraction and modelling of testing technology and method.The test case is separated from the test software,and the test software is divided into four independent modules according to its functions: input module,receiving and decoding module,measurement and control module and verification module,which reduces the cost of update and maintenance and ensures stable testing.Secondly,analyzes the frequent manual intervention operation in the system,and proposes the automatic design of input function,instruction sending function,verification function and report writing process.The 96-144 clicks in each image test process are reduced to 0,and more than 100 items of report recording work are reduced to 0.The unattended operation is realized.Then,the hardware platform data channel of each module is designed.The PC of Windows system is used as the hardware platform.The data link of "PCIe card + Windows",Gigabit Ethernet network environment and 1553 B bus interface are built for data transmission.The data rate can reach 8 Gbps,10 Gbps and 1 Mbps respectively.Finally,the software system is designed,implemented and validated.The software design adopts "consumer mode","observer mode","template method mode" and other design modes.With the Open Close Principle as the general specification,the software can be expanded by "opening" and "closing" by modification,which improves the software scalability.Through functional performance testing,the test equipment takes less than 5 seconds to complete the test flow(input-receive-forward-decode-validation)for each image(size11635? 6528? 16bit),and can realize unattended testing,which has good real-time performance and high automation,and meets the design requirements.
