Landscape Design Of Jinshan Lake Waterfront Park In Huizhou City Based On Ecological Perspective

People feel depressed living in the cities suffering from frequent haze--one of the climatic disasters,and desperately wish for blue and clear sky.Therefore,the urban waterfront space which is of typical ecological nature has been drawing great attentions.With the ecological design for a waterfront park as an example,the author of this essay focuses on the study of the ecological nature of the urban waterfront space in order to gain an insight into the future development of waterfront parks in cities.Based on amount of literature,this author has made an in-depth analysis of the origin,rise and prosperity of urban waterfront parks as well as the related theories both at home and abroad.In addition,the author has summarized the theories on design philosophy and concerning elements,put them into practice and verified them.By studying and analyzing the outstanding urban waterfront parks in the country and overseas,the author has conducted a deep research and study on Nanjing Lanxi River-Yinque Lake waterfront area,Beitang Riverside waterfront area of Hangzhou high-tech zone(Binjiang)in Zhejiang province as well as Bishan-Ang Mo Kio Park in Singapore.This author has also summarized the philosophy of ecological design after a period of studying on classic cases and several field trips,and then applied it to Jinshan Lake waterfront park in Huizhou.It is true that this philosophy still needs to be improved,but the author never stops exploring for constructive ideas to make the final results of this study more persuasive.
