Under the guidance of the concept of low-impact development, this project aims to repair natural water ecosystems and improve waterlogging in residential areas by exploring the transformation modes of the low-impact development of existing residential areas, realizing the purification of rainwater runoff in residential areas and alleviating the impact of urban floods.Mainly from the perspective of landscape,we will optimize the landscape environment while reducing the surface runoff, collecting and storing rainwater, and create a more harmonious ecological living environment for residents. This paper analyzes the technology theory of the residential landscape planning process, the status and the storm water management of European countries, the United States and other developed countries. This paper also further discusses the sponge city construction system, theory and landscape transformation process of residential areas in China, and summarizes the problems in the process of landscape transformation of low-impact development of existing residential areas in China. The paper also analyzes the main functions of each individual facility with low-impact development, and optimizes the combination of measures to propose the landscape transformation process of existing residential areas.According to the architectural layout of the existing residential areas, the author divides them into three forms: divergent, agglomerated and scattered.According to the layout characteristics, the author summarizes the corresponding landscape reconstruction methods, and determines the focus and direction of landscape reconstruction of the existing residential areas as a whole. The landscape pathways combined with low-impact development measures are respectively described by the five major landscape elements of roads, buildings, water bodies, plants and topography. The author conducts a field research to summarize the current landscape conditions and hydrogeology of existing residential areas in Shijiazhuang City, analyzes the causes of waterlogging in Shijiazhuang City and the landscape status of existing residential areas around water accumulation points. The author also summarizes suitable landscape transformation modes of low-impact development for existing residences in Shijiazhuang City, and conducts practical demonstration on the theoretical results based on the landscape transformation of Jinmatengfeiyuan Community in Shijiazhuang City.Through the above summary,it is found that there are many types of low-impact development facilities, but the main focus of the existing residential landscape reconstruction with the existing layout is different. The linear purification transfer technology is mainly applicable to the rainwater regulation of the building layout with divergence, including axial and patch type. This technology regards the road elements as the main carrier to combine the facilities and the landscape;while the concentrated building layout with the centripetal and enclosed type mainly relies on the surface-flow-regulated runoff control method and regards large-area water elements as the main landscape combination approach;the point-like convergence infiltration technology is mainly for the building layout with intensive type and metaphorical scatter-type,mainly through the combination of architectural elements and low-impact development facilities. The terrain and plant transformation in the landscape elements of the residential area are more flexible, namely there are multiple forms of landscape combination between the terrain and plant transformation and the above three modes.Because of its unique site characteristics and hydrogeology, the existing residential areas in Shijiazhuang are suitable for zoning and phased determination of annual runoff control objectives and construction of low-impact development landscape transformation system.
