Research On Financial Strategy Of China Cosco

The 2008 financial crisis has brought about a downturn in the global maritime industry which lasted for several years.The growth of Global trade tends to be flat.The shrinking of shipping demand and the decline of price make our country and even the global shipping industry face unprecedented difficulties.COSCO Marine Control is the most representative shipping company in China,mainly engaged in container shipping,docks and other business.Since the financial crisis,COSCO Maritime Control Group has been deeply affected by the cyclical downturn of the industry,and its operation has been difficult.Starting from the macro-environment,this paper studies and analyses the company from the aspects of industry development and enterprise's own financial strategy,focusing on the analysis and comparison of various financial indicators,the study and study of enterprise's specific financial strategy,and the analysis of EVA to analyze and evaluate financial strategy of China COSCO in recent years,as well as the formulation and implementation of enterprise's future financial strategy.Some practical suggestions are put forward.The formulation and implementation of enterprise financial strategy need to have a full grasp and understanding of the objective conditions.The two most important points to be considered are the external environment in which the enterprise is situated and the internal operating conditions of the enterprise at that time.Through scientific research methods,this paper analyses the external competitive environment and internal competitiveness of enterprises.Then,according to the two dimensions of internal and external environment of enterprises,this paper makes an analysis of the financial indicators of enterprises,helps researchers to find out what problems exist in the past operation of enterprises,and on this basis,On this basis,the choice and implementation ofenterprise financial strategy are studied.In the research of this paper,through the in-depth understanding of the financial situation and operation of China COSCO from 2012 to 2017,it will help to explore the reasons for the formulation of corporate financial strategy,help to make a reasonable evaluation of corporate financial strategy,and help us to make a concrete strategy of the investment of China COSCO,financing,management and profit distribution from the operational level and strategic height.Conduct study and research.In the framework of the article,this paper first elaborates the background,theoretical significance and practical significance of the financial strategy research,and then introduces the research situation at home and abroad,and then summarizes the research ideas,research methods and conclusions of the article.In terms of theoretical analysis,firstly,scholars summarize the strategic implications,and secondly,comb out the basic methods of financial strategy research.In the specific research of financial strategy,based on the introduction of the main situation and the understanding of its operating environment,this paper makes a detailed analysis of the company's profitability,operating ability,debt paying ability and cash flow,and then makes a concrete analysis and summary of the enterprise's financial strategy.In the aspect of financial strategy evaluation,this paper evaluates the effect of financial strategy adopted by enterprises in recent years by using the method of EVA calculation,and makes practical suggestions on the adjustment of future financial strategy.Although the shadow of the cyclical industry downturn has not completely dissipated,COSCO,as one of the largest shipping enterprises in China,needs to formulate corresponding countermeasures for the survival of enterprises and the long-term economic interests of enterprises when the crisis comes.Only in this way can enterprises have sufficient capital to develop in the revival period after the cold wave.
