With the rapid development of China’s civil aviation transportation industry,China aviation maintenance market is also growing gradually.Operating cost of aircraft operators is dominated the larger part by the maintenance cost.How to reduce the maintenance cost effectively is of great significance for the long-term development of aircraft operators,and may promote civil aviation directly or indirectly.Inspection interval of civil aircraft components is closely related to maintenance cost,how to determine the optimal inspection interval is also directly related to maintenance cost.Given the safety,reliability and economics as the goal of maintenance,in addition to the maintenance cost,availability is also an important index to consider.Defect of civil aircraft components has obvious characteristics of delay time.Considering the deficiency of periodic interval inspection strategy.According to the practical maintenance,the non-constant probabilities of imperfect inspection are considered.And inspection is divided into three levels: visual inspection,detailed inspection and special detailed inspection.The research is divided into three parts based on delay time,a non-periodic interval inspection strategy is proposed for life non-limited components,a non-periodic interval inspection strategy is proposed over finite time horizon for life limited components,and a new two-phase function inspection strategy is proposed for standby components.Renewal process of components under three kinds of inspection strategy is respectively analyzed,and an inspection interval optimization model based on delay time is developed,which is subject to availability and aims to minimize maintenance cost rate.The simulation and analysis are carried on for the model by Matlab,and the results show that the maintenance cost rate under the three inspection strategies is reduced to varying degrees compared with periodic interval inspection,which verifies effectiveness of three models.
