China has become the largest tire manufacturing country in the world,with the development of computer technology,tire finite element analysis technology has been widely used by tire manufacturers.However,at present,the tire finite element modeling and analysis process is mostly completed manually,which requires high professional requirements for operators,At the same time,many details in the modeling process are time-consuming and error-prone,so this paper establishes an automatic modeling module for tire finite element modeling.For the material property assignment and rim coordinate assignment in the analysis process,which are easy to make mistakes and have many repetitive operations,a tire information database module is established to provide data support for finite element simulation calculation.In addition,in order to obtain the relevant evaluation index,a large number of finite element analysis results need to be processed,therefore,an automatic tire finite element analysis module is established,which can automatically process and save the data and improve the efficiency of finite element post-processing.The tire finite element modeling theory,tire finite element analysis theory and related software redevelopment technology are studied,and the existing problems in tire finite element modeling and analysis process are summarized and analyzed,develop a complete set of tire finite element automatic modeling and analysis process.Proposes a minimum independent region recognition algorithm based on IGES file,which realizes the recognition area of tire 2D CAD drawing.The coordinates of nodes,line elements and region information in CAD drawing are saved separately.This algorithm can be easily embedded in the FEM pre-processing platform to provide geometric information support for tire FEM automatic modeling.A minimum independent region recognition algorithm and a graphical user interface(GUI)are developed based on C# language.The algorithm,finite element modeling module,database module and finite element analysis module are integrated to form a complete tire finite element automatic modeling and analysis system.Humanized operation greatly simplifies the process of finite element modeling and analysis,and reduces the possibility of error.HyperMesh is redeveloped based on Tcl/Tk language,including region partition,grid partition and contact surface establishment.The tire finite element modeling is standardized and programmed to simplify the modeling process,reduce the error steps and repetitive operation.The database of tire material is established,including rubber material database,rim coordinate database,rubber thermophysical parameter database and rubber loss factor database.It facilitates the assignment of material attributes in finite element analysis,and adds the functions of adding,querying and deleting,which facilitates the storage and modification of parameters.ABAQUS is redeveloped based on Python language,including submitting calculation of multi-condition simulation analysis and output of analys is results data.The exe executable file written in MATLAB is used to process the data and output it on the GUI.The connection with PowerPoint is established to generate the finite element analysis report.
