Research On The Method Of Identifying The Standard Value Of City Building Night Landscape Lighting

In China ,the city night landscape lighting grow rapidly. Buildings are not only the constitute element of the city, but also the important part and main carrier of the image of the city night landscape lighting. In the process of city night landscape lighting designing ,many problem will be caused by wrong manner of illumination, improper choice of luminaires and misunderstanding to characteristic of building surface material, such as excessive energy consume and unconformity subjective estimate of brightness level etc. so we need correlative lighting design standard to guide the process of lighting designing.In the process of lighting designing in many cities, lighting designer always follow the foreign lighting standard because the lack of experience , But in many case, continue to use the foreign standard directly is impertinent because the local objective conditions is much different form abroad . So several municipalities have drawn up local landscape lighting standard individually, the most important aspect is the recommending of standard value, it's the crucial index parameter of lighting designing.Through the investigation of the illumination standard and correlated information in existence domestically and overseas, we found that a majority of the overseas standard was established earlier and because of the visualizability and expedience that illuminance was used in actual calculation, most of designers took illuminance as the recommended value. But much authority put forward that illuminance cannot reflect the person's feelings directly though it is convenient in calculation, so it's not precise to take illuminance as the recommended value. The design of the illumination can't depart from people's subjective evaluation, and luminance is also the key factor. Though luminance is an important parameter, the calculation process is very complex, so designers just bring forward to take diffuse reflection formula to convert approximately, but not take luminance as the recommended standard.
