Study On Dimension Quality Control Of Car Body Research Phase

Since 2009,continuously in 7 years,the products and sales volume of Chinese automobiles have steadily been the first in the world.Until the end of 2015,they have exceeded 24,5 million units,and it is about 1/4 of it in the world.However,compared to countries like Japan,Korea and some countries in Europe and America,we still have a big gap regarding quality control of our automobile manufacture.Among these,quality controlling is one of the reasons.The traditional model for car manufacture consists of about one thousand press parts,one hundred welding fixtures,and several thousand operations.The process is complicated,and technologic control is heavy.Just because of these characters,dimension deviations have been increased,and formed the difficulties of dimension control,which also are focused by academia and automobile companies.This thesis is aimed to research advanced quality management methods,to monitor controlling status,to find the causes of breakdown,and to solve quality problems.The result of this thesis can be used in present automobile companies to promote growth of quality technology in car production.This study tracked the dimension in productions forming process in Shanghai Volkswagen,and researched influence factors of projects quality control:QRequirments establishment and cost control.Series of facilities and methods,for example CMM,FM,Audit,Cubing and Master Body have been used to control dimension status.Meanwhile,check list,quality check,control chart,sample statistics and process chart have been used to control the quality.This study also researched Santana NF whole car noise problems which caused by hood dimension deviation in Shanghai Volkswagen.With the quality control system in this thesis,the root cause was found and the problem was solved.The dimension control system in this thesis combines the assembly process and dimension monitoring,and formed feasible,high efficient control methode,and this will have widely spread meaning of quality control for domestic automobile companies.
