Study On Lean Management In New Product Developmentof Automotive Engine

"13th Five-Year" is the critical period of China's manufacturing industry to improve the quality and efficiency and to develop from big to strong,especially in the automotive industry which is the main battlefield of the supply side to promote structural reform.From industrial policy,the country strongly supports the rise of national automobile brand.From the development of enterprises,the mature automobile product and the new product development ability is the core competitiveness of enterprises.The core technology of the engine products must have a competitive advantage to make sure the passenger vehicle enterprises get product competitiveness.New product development of engine project is involved in a number of areas of systems engineering,in particular,it need to establish a rigorous,efficient and effective project management process to deal with the difficulties and challenges.However,relatively backward development and management of new products caused the product itself has been in a state of "follow".In order to help enterprises to meet market demand,better use of resources,shorten the development cycle,reduce development costs,improve profitability,the enterprises are looking for their own development management methods.Therefore,it is urgent to improve and strengthen the development and management of automotive engine.Through the analysis of present development status of X company's new engine product,to compare and analyze based on lean thinking system and optimizing the process design,to summarize the shortcomings and deficiencies,to tease out the hidden value flow in the process,identify the "waste" phenomenon in development process.According to the lean product development system of Toyota Corporation,and fully applied research methods in Lean Development Management in X company's new engine products development,put forward the improvement ideas for application,help enterprises to control costs,improve development efficiency and shorten the development cycle,and further improve the market competitiveness.
