Study On Plant Space Construction Of Urban Mountain Park In Central Hunan

The mountain is an important carrier for the preservation of urban ecological system.However,due to the acceleration of urbanization and the urban population increases,the per capita green space decreases.How to transform natural mountain forest into urban public green space and provide good public space for residents through the construction of mountain parks is a subject that needs to be further studied.The author studies the plant space construction in urban mountain park based on environmental psychology,landscape architecture planning and design theory.The main results of this study are as follows:1.A field research was conducted on Taohualing hill park and Shawan park,and search for information of other urban mountain park,found that the main problems in landscape plant design of many current urban mountain park are as follows: Firstly,less prominent theme and lack of systemic plants space;Secondly,there are safety hazards because the plant space function and topographic treatment are not reasonable;Thirdly,the plant space morphology is affected by regular plant pruning and planting,resulting in the plant space being unnatural;The fourth is the excessive enhancement of ornamental function and neglect the production function of plants.2.There are obvious differences in plant landscape space between different terrain areas in urban mountain parks: The foothill is suitable for tourists to collect or carry out outdoor activities,it is appropriate to create open plant space or semi-open plant space in foothill;The slope usually includes a middle slope,a steep slope,and a sharp slope.A middle slope is suitable for tourists to rest in the ornamental,and appropriate create semi-open plant space or cover plant space,steep slope and sharp slope are not suitable for recreational activities,so they are appropriate to be constructed as a closed plant space or a vertical plant space with a mountain-path;The ridge is suitable for the formation of linear landscape,it is appropriate to create natural vertical plant space;The mountaintop is suitable to set up the structure to form the high point of the park,it is appropriate to create open or semi-open plant space;The valley should be considers to undertake the function of rainwater collection,it is appropriate to combine waterscape to create open or semi-open plant space.3.Using the above theories and methods to complete the planting design of Yanchi mountain park in Changning county.At the foot of the mountain,flowers and luxuriant plants combine with the sunny lawn to create a unique plant landscape and construct open or semi-open space;At the middle slope,combine the leisure platform to form the sparse forest landscape as the forest bathing place,to create semi-open space or cover plant space.At steep slope and sharp slope,with the production function of plants,various kinds of evergreen fruit trees can be used to form dense forest belts to create a closed plant space.In the mountain ridge,a variety of autumn foliage plants are planted along the road to form the colorful maple leaf sightseeing corridor,to create the vertical plant space with natural linear shape as the characteristic plant landscape.At the mountaintop,the construction of Wenchang pavilion forms the high point of the whole park and creates open or semi-open plant space.In urban mountain park,we should create different types of plant space according to mountainous area and the terrain,combining with the landscape design establish natural forest as an vibrant urban public green space with outstanding plant theme,colorful plant space.
