Video-nystagmogragh(VNG)is one of the most advanced vestibular system functional examination equipment in the world.It is mainly for doctors to make objective test results of vestibular dysfunction.At present,most of the video nystagmus instruments are imported from abroad,and the cost is relatively expensive.Only large hospitals have the ability to equip the equipment,which is not conducive to promotion,but also not universal enough to meet the needs of the majority of patients.In this paper,a new portable video electronystagmograph and auxiliary diagnosis system are developed and designed by using a software-hardware co-design technology,wireless communication technology and image tracking technology.The system is mainly composed of nystagmus video acquisition equipment and nystagmus video analysis App.Based on the latest development trend of video electronystagmography and the design requirement of portable video electronystagmography and assistant diagnosis system,the overall design scheme of portable video electronystagmography and assistant diagnosis system are proposed in this paper.The main research contents are as follows:1)Building an embedded hardware development platform.Through the analysis of the overall structure of the system,MT7628 AN is used as the hardware development platform of the core processor,and combined with the software development platform of the embedded OpenWrt router operating system.At the same time,the functions of nystagmus video capture,compression coding and wireless network transmission are realized by using binocular infrared camera,MJPEG-Streamer video stream server software and wireless communication technology.It is of great significance for the miniaturization and portability of the whole system.2)The design and implementation of mobile App are completed.Based on the detailed analysis of the advantages and disadvantages of various mobile operating systems,this paper develops a nystagmus video analysis App using the most popular Android mobile operating system as the research platform.The App is based on HTTP protocol communication.It uses wireless network to obtain real-time nystagmus video stream data from nystagmus video acquisition equipment,and carries out analysis and research on the data.Firstly,each frame of the video stream is preprocessed with morphological image,which reduces the complexity of image information and improves the accuracy of detection.Then,image enhancement and image segmentation algorithms are used to extract features to obtain the region of interest,the pupil center,and then locate the pupil position to record eye movement trajectory data.Finally,the Eye Tracking Video is played in real time by App,and the motion trajectory of the eyeball is used to determine whether the vertigo is caused by involuntary motion caused by vestibular diseases.3)The screening experiment of vestibular vertigo is carried out.The research is applied to the vertigo experiment caused by vestibular lesions.By comparing the experimental data,the stability and reliability of portable video electronystagmography and auxiliary diagnosis system and the accuracy of related detection algorithms(eye tracking algorithm and disease diagnosis algorithm)are verified.
