Informatization and automation technology are more and more widely used in power grid,but the power system relies too much on intelligent electronic equipment and network communication.Because intelligent components can not reach the flexible judgment of human resources,the work of fully intelligent system may lead to the failure of protective devices,circuit breakers and other equipment to operate correctly,which will further expand the scope of accidents,and even cause incalculable losses.Aiming at the existing problems,this paper analyzed the causes of the faults,constructed a fault diagnosis model,and analyzed the faults with actual cases in the field,completed the research of digital substation faults based on IEC 61850 standard.This paper introduces the history of the development of digital substation in developed countries and China,as well as the main role played by famous international manufacturers in the formulation of IEC 61850 standard.In the chapter of IEC 61850 standard communication architecture design and structure system,the three-layer two-network structure is deeply analyzed.By determining the fault object and the source of fault diagnosis information,the general method of fault analysis is established based on the fault diagnosis information flow chart of IEC 61850 standard.Finally,taking GOOSE transmission delay fault,GOOSE switch fault itself,GOOSE switch port fault,intelligent terminal fault and merging unit fault as field examples,based on the construction of fault diagnosis model and general method,the whole process of fault occurrence is distinguished,the cause of fault occurrence is deeply analyzed,and effective solutions are put forward according to different faults.Through the above research,we can finally use the alarm information caused by the fault,identify the fault components,determine the type and location of the fault,evaluate the action of protection and circuit breaker,reduce the blackout scope,reduce the accident risk and ensure the stability of the power system.
