In recent years,due to the continuous accumulation of greenhouse effect,global warming,melting of glaciers in the Polar Regions,longer sailing periods in the Arctic area,increased number of sailing vessels,and Arctic routes have greatly saved the time and economic costs of shipping,which have good development prospects.However,the temperature at high latitudes is low,and ships sailing in this water area are particularly prone to ice accumulation on ships,which will greatly reduce the stability of the ship and threaten the safety of the ship and crew.Moreover,the polar sea conditions are bad,and the wave stability safety problem after the ship has accumulated ice is urgently needed to be solved.The calculation methods for ice accretion in the current Polar Rules and 2008 IS CODE are relatively rough,because the environmental impact is not considered;the actual situation of ice accretion on ships is not truly reflected.The current first-generation ship stability criterion mainly considers the stability and safety of the ship in still water.In actual operation,the ship is in different waves,and the stability performance of the ship in the wave is particularly important.There is less research on the stability of wave stability after ice.The loss of pure stability and the roll of parameters both are one of the five failure modes of IMO's second-generation complete stability.They are all related to the stability of the ship in the wave.This paper was based on the research of predicting the ship's ice accretion model domestic and overseas,developed the program for calculating the weight and center of gravity of the ship's ice by using VB and MATLAB.Then,the pure stability loss and the parameter roll weakness criteria after icing under different temperature,speed and sea conditions are performed on the two sample ships.And analyzing the effects of different factors on the weakness of the pure stability loss and the parameter roll of the ship are analyzed,which provides reference for the calculation of ship ice accretion and the promotion and application of loss of pure stability and the parameter roll in polar navigation area.In general,the main works of this paper are as follows:Comprehensively learn about the calculation methods,principles of ice accretion of ships domestic and overseas,the similarities,differences affecting parameters of ship ice accretion models;Through the improvement of the existing ice accretion model,the polar ship icing calculation program was developed based on VB and MATLAB,in which the input of environmental parameters and ship deck profile parameters increased the applicability of the program;Using two fishing boats as sample ships,the reliability of the software of this paper was verified by comparing the results of the program with the 2008 IS CODE;Taking two fishing boats as sample ships,firstly calculate the weight and the weight center of the ice under different conditions,and then use the pure stability loss and parameter roll program developed by the research group to check whether the ship can meet the criteria after icing,lastly analyze the research results of the calculation results,and give relevant suggestions...
