In recent years,the State Grid Corporation has made great efforts to promote the insitu protection and measurement technology of smart substations.While pursuing technological advancement,improving the design,operation and maintenance technology of smart substations has become an important goal.With the completion and commissioning of a large number of smart substations,improving the operation and maintenance ability of digital secondary system and equipment of smart substations by first-line relay protection and automation team technicians has become a basic measure to ensure the safe operation of power grid.Strengthening the skills training of front-line team technicians around the characteristics of intelligent substation has become the focus of the work direction of the State Grid Corporation.Considering the development needs of Smart Substation and the training needs of first-line teams,combined with the project "Development of Portable Intelligent Substation Integrated Simulating Device for Operating and Maintenance Support of Secondary Teams" set up by Sichuan Electric Power Company in 2016,the aim is to provide a tool for team self-organizing training.The development of the device includes both software and hardware.As a sub-project of the project,the hardware platform of the device,i.e.the hardware design of the handheld training device for intelligent substation,is mainly introduced in order to provide a basis for the realization of the integrated simulation system of intelligent substation on the software platform.This paper combines the communication network structure and the overall network configuration of the intelligent substation,and determines the main hardware indicators and overall design scheme of the handheld training device.The device is mainly composed of three modules: industrial control motherboard,simulation circuit board and communication circuit board.The simulation and communication circuit board are designed based on FPGA.In the design process of the handheld training device,the paper describes the design of hardware system and PCB design/simulation.In the part of system design,the paper firstly introduces the specific parameters and application of industrial control motherboard,which is the core part of the device.Secondly,in order to realize the function of device calculation and simulation,this paper designs a simulation circuit board based on multi-FPGA system,focusing on the structure design of multi-FPGA system,the design of auxiliary circuit module and the design of system storage module.Substation network message information function,text design device communication circuit board,focusing on the Gigabit optical transceiver circuit and its physical layer circuit;then design the communication link based on Mini-PCIE bus;finally design the power supply network that meets the requirements of the device.In the PCB design/simulation part,firstly,through the analysis of the principle of PCB stacking design and routing design,the design of stacking and routing is completed for the PCB of the device;secondly,the principle of signal reflection and signal crosstalk is studied,and the signal integrity of PCB is analyzed by building a model on the simulation platform;secondly,the power integrity of PCB of the device is analyzed by decoupling network simulation.To ensure the correctness and feasibility of the design.Finally,some functions of the device are tested,and the results show that the design basically meets the requirements of the project.
