In recent years,many innovations have been rapidly advanced in the automotive environment.In order to meet the needs of in-vehicle network environment ’s bandwidth and low latency,the industry plans to use Ethernet as the next-generation in-vehicle backbone network.However,due to bandwidth,delay,time synchronization,etc.,traditional Ethernet cannot be directly applied to the vehicle environment.The Automotive Ethernet Standardization Organization has proposed a number of technical recommendations from the physical and link layers to address this issue,including the use of Time-Triggered Ethernet as the backbone of the vehicle.Time-Triggered Ethernet is primarily located at the link layer of the Automotive Ethernet.Over the years,many research institutes and companies have carried out research on Time-Triggered Ethernet,including time synchronization and resource scheduling algorithms,and have begun to apply the technology to autonomous vehicles.Based on the above background,this thesis studies the key technologies of the Time-Triggered Ethernet software layer,and has a certain understanding of the equipment in the vehicle environment,and proposes the design and implementation of the software architecture.The hardware of this subject is based on the FPGA development board developed by the teaching and research section.On the Linux system,the Time-Triggered Ethernet terminal device driver and application program are designed,and the driver memory allocation scheme design and the interaction between the software and the underlying hardware data are completed.In the past,most of Time-Trigger Ethernet test use one application on each terminal.This thesis proposes a test scheme,which writes and uses the total console application software to test the entire Time-Triggered Ethernet environment.This method can save a lot of manpower and material resources,especially in the environment of multi-switch and multi-terminal.Finally,connect Time-Triggered Ethernet devices and build a network environment to simulate large-scale data interaction in the vehicle environment,and obtains test results.From the perspective of performance and reliability,analyze the improvement and impact of Time-Triggered Ethernet on the Automotive Ethernet.The Time-Triggered Ethernet terminal equipment developed in the second time can be used in the Automotive Ethernet environment,and further research work in this area can be carried out in the future.The article concludes with a summary of the work of this thesis and the future research directions.
