Since General Secretary Xi's proposal to build the Silk Road Economic Belt in Kazakhstan,it has received positive response and support from many countries and international organizations. The cooperation of countries along the line faces unprecedented opportunities. In particular, the current international energy situation and the geopolitical situation are constantly changing.China's energy demand continues to grow at a high speed, and China will face a severe energy security situation in the future.China is bordered by territory of Kazakhstan and has bilateral cooperation in various fields such as economy, trade, politics, and security.Kazakhstan has abundant oil and gas resources. The proposal of "One Belt And One Road" provides a golden opportunity for China-Kazakhstan energy cooperation.Infrastructure construction is conducive to improving the level of energy trade between China and Kazakhstan, can effectively promote the balanced and stable economic development of the two countries, and is an economic "accelerator".However,Kazakhstan is still relatively backward in infrastructure construction and manufacturing industry. To increase infrastructure construction among countries is of great practical significance for promoting bilateral energy cooperation. This paper comprehensively expounds the impact and practical significance by the interconnection and intercommunication of national infrastructure along the Silk Road Economic Belt on China-Kazakhstan energy trade.Firstly, the endowment of energy and resources, the current situation of supply and demand and the current situation of infrastructure between China and Kazakhstan are analyzed qualitatively. Then, the international market share index, trade competitiveness index, revealed comparative advantage index and other indicators are introduced to measure the current situation, potential and existing problems of the energy cooperation between China and Kazakhstan.Based on this, using panel data to explore the relationship between infrastructure and energy trade in countries along the route. Then, through the GTAP model, the scenario simulation was conducted to predict the impact of infrastructure interconnection among countries along the belt and road on energy trade and welfare effect between China and Kazakhstan in the future. Finally, based on the changes in energy trade between China and Kazakhstan during the infrastructureinterconnection of countries along the silk road economic belt, the paper puts forward feasible paths and policy Suggestions to promote the deepening development and sustainable cooperation of energy trade between China and Kazakhstan. In other words, infrastructure connectivity of countries along the belt and road will bring more positive effects to China and Kazakhstan than the infrastructure connectivity between China and Kazakhstan alone. This is in line with the original intention of the "One Belt And One Road" initiative.Countries should increase infrastructure construction among countries along the belt and road to give full play to their advantages.
