Research On Behavior Restraint Product Design For Exceptional Children

For a long time,many people do not understand what kind of group exceptional children are,because most exceptional children are not in our life circle.With the progress of society,the State advocates the good trend of social support for the disabled,so exceptional children have also received more and more attention in society.Exceptional children have psychological and physiological deficiencies.When they are stimulated by the outside world,their mood fluctuates greatly,coupled with their poor self-control ability,they are prone to some problematic behaviors,which seriously hinders their physical and mental development.At present,the research on exceptional children in our country focuses on psychology and biology,and lacks of other professional perspectives to study the diversity of exceptional children.This subject will combine the behavior and product design of exceptional children to carry out design research.This subject relies on the welfare home restraint product design project to carry out research.Based on the research of exceptional children's behavior,the design process of exceptional children's behavior restraint product is established to guide the design and development of such special groups of medical products.The research methods used in this subject include literature research,questionnaire,observation,interdisciplinary research,experimental method and case analysis.The research contents mainly include defining the purpose and object of the research,analyzing the research status of related fields at home and abroad,laying a foundation for the research of the subject,and analyzing the shortcomings of the existing results,highlighting the research significance of the subject.Definition and classification of exceptional children,understanding the different living environment of exceptional children,summed up the psychological and physiological characteristics of exceptional children.In the study of exceptional children's behavior,the observation method was used to record the occurrence frequency,intensity,duration and source of stimulating signals of exceptional children's problem behaviors.According to the statistical results,the problem behaviors were mainly divided into self-injuring behavior,aggressive behavior and destructive behavior.At the same time,the causes and influencing factors of self-injury behavior are summarized.The existing restraint products are not designed to avoid self-injury behavior of exceptional children.There are obvious differences between children and adults.In order to avoid medical accidents,it is necessary to design restraint products for exceptional children.Restraint products are based on the dual human-computer interaction between exceptional children and health care workers.User characteristics are analyzed,such as working status and environment of health care workers,psychological activities of exceptional children during treatment,etc.Combined with the current design trend of medical equipment,the design criteria of product constraints are summarized,which include safety design principle,usability design principle,emotional design principle,economic design principle and ergonomic design principle.In the last part of the paper,the author investigates the existing restraint products in the market through case analysis,and analyses the shortcomings of these products,such as single use,indifferent appearance,inconvenient operation,etc.Through questionnaires,we can get a thorough understanding of the current situation of the use of restraint products in welfare homes,and analyze the results of the questionnaires to get the real needs of users.Testing method,using different materials,different colors,different functions of auxiliary devices to test the emotional response and behavioral response of exceptional children,summed up the cognitive preferences of exceptional children.Finally,through the five levels of product function,product styling,product color,product material and product operation process to achieve the innovation of new products.Drawing the sketch plan according to the innovation point,designing the 3D model after establishing the sketch plan,and finally making the physical model according to the 3D drawings,and testing the physical model in the welfare institute to collect user feedback and improve the deficiencies.In this research,the behavior research of exceptional children is really implemented in the design and development,and the final design scheme of restraint products has a certain pertinence.It is hoped that the results of this project can provide some reference for researchers or designers in related fields,and that researchers and designers can continue to pay attention to and try more new exploration in the field of behavior restraint for exceptional children.
