Nowadays,the global obesity is much severer,more and more people pay attention to weight loss than before.With the development of new technology,the mobile weight loss market is growing,lots of weight loss applications have emerged.However,without human and emotional design,users hardly stick using it.This article is based on the context of mobile internet,using Don Norman's emotional design theory as a guidance,focus on the demand of weight loss population while they are losing weight and using weight loss applications,by considering different emotions influenced by design elements,the author tried to take user's emotion into consideration from the dimensions of visceral,behavioral and reflective level,built up proper emotional design guideline and key points for interface optimization.First of all,article gave the definitions of weight loss application,emotional design,etc.Secondly,used the method of questionnaire and interview to analyze the features of the users,their behavioral features,their experience of using weight loss applications,summed up their needs,put forward the design elements related to emotional design,summed up the principles and key points of optimization.Finally,the author design a new weight loss app that users will find emotional common ground with the product and more stick to it.In the end of this chapter,the author summarized the results and gave prospects for the future research.
