As the most direct equipment that supply power to the users,10 kV and 35 kV high-voltage switchgears have been widely used in power system,its safe and stable operation has an important role in the reliability of power supply.Partial discharge,as a sign of switchgear insulation degradation,can effectively reflect the insulation status of switchgears.Enhancing the partial discharge live detection work on switchgear can effectively improve the safety and stability of switchgear operation,and has a very important significance on the power supply.The detection technology of partial discharge of switchgear has been developed rapidly in recent years.Transient voltage and Ultrasonic detection technology are favored by non-intrusive characteristic,but the domestic transient voltage detection device is monopolized by foreign companies.In this paper,the theory of partial discharge of switchgear is fully understood,and the theory of transient voltage and ultrasonic detection technology is deeply researched.The propagation of electromagnetic wave signal generated by partial discharge and formation of TEV signal is simulated by using 3D electromagnetic simulation software,and a more in-depth understanding of TEV detection technology has been achieved.Combining the advantages of the two detection techniques,the hand-held detector based on these two detection technologies is designed.The implementation of the hardware system is given in the paper,including data acquisition,human-computer interaction,data storage and auxiliary functions.The detector has transient voltage and ultrasonic detection modes,and the functions of data processing,pulse counting and interface display etc.are realized through embedded development.Comparative experiments and field tests fully proved the detector's effectiveness and engineering practicability,and the detector can meet the needs of daily inspection.
