Our country regards low-carbon development as an important goal,now need largecapacity,high-parameter,high-efficiency generators,thus the demand of the large turbinegenerator increase year by year.The frame and the stator are manufactured separately and then assembled in the large turbine generator manufacturing process,which solves the bottleneck of production.As the large generator stator weight,the assembly process requires high,so the existing stator assembly tool has been unable to meet the requirements.The Shanghai Generator Factory 390 MW generator was the first to assemble the inner and outer bases and,according to the generator structure,they designed the stator assembly tool.The original tools can not meet the requirements,so the original stator assembly tools need to be improved,and can be used for the assembly of generator stators with larger capacity,various grades and similar structures.Based on the problems existing in the stator manufacturing process of Shanghai generator factory,this paper studies the process of large generator stator assembly,different types of stator assembly,and the size of generator stator structure,finally determines the improvement target of assembly tool.The simulation results show that the improved tool structure can meet the requirements of large generator stator assembly process.Through the improvement of the tool to solve the original assembly tool is not suitable for large-scale generator problems,and to some extent save a large tooling manufacturing costs.In this paper,ANSYS finite element parametric method is used to model the stator assembly tool.The finite element analysis software is used to analyze the strength and stiffness of the modified tool to ensure that the tool strength meets the requirements.Finally,the 500 MW gas turbine generator produced by Shanghai Generator Factory has carried out deformation and stress test.The experimental results show that the stator assembly tool after optimization is satisfied,the tool stress size and calculation result are close,the calculation method and model have certain precision.
