CAP1400 reactor is the large advanced pressurized water reactor which is based on the third generation reactor Westinghouse AP1000,through indepengdent research,and has independent intellectual property rights.In order to obtain a better distribution of the core inlet flow characteristics,the even-flow distributor is designed and used in CAP1400 reactor internals.According to the requirements of the relevant standards and regulations,reactor coolant should be allocated to fuel assembly and reactor core structures in an appropriate proportion to provide the required cooling conditions.At the same time,the core inlet flow distribution data of the reactor is an important input for reactor thermal hydraulic and flow induced vibration analysis.Therefor,it's necessary to study the core inlet flow distribution of the new structure of CAP1400 reactor.The reactor internals structure is very complex.It's not realistic to use the actual reactor structure model studying the core inlet flow distribution.So the scale model test is needed.According to flow similarity criterion,by studying the reactor flow distribution of scale model,it can reflect the flow characteristics of the actual reactor.So we can obtain the core inlet flow distribution data of actual reactor,and verify the rationality of the structure design.Through the comprehensive demonstration,we can determine an appropriate model proportion.On the basis of the actual structure of CAP1400 reactor pressure vessel and reactor internals,through the necessary model simplified treatment,we can design appropriate CAP1400 reactor hydraulic test scale model,and then complete the manufacturing.We design and construct the test system,install the test model,arrange the measuring instruments,debug the measurement system,and finally complete the core inlet flow distribution test of flow skirt and even-flow distributor separately.We analyze the test data obtained and compare theoretical results.The data of different structures can be matched with each other,so we can confirm that the teat data and calculation results are both reasonable and credible.At the same time,the core inlet flow distribution data of two kinds of structures meet the requirements of the design code,which could verify the rationality of the CAP1400 reactor structure design in this aspect.In addition,by comparing the results,even-flow distributor is better than flow skirt,which can reflect the advanced nature of even-flow distributor in core inlet flow distribution.
