Rapid transit as an important way of large and medium-sized cities to solve the traffic problems, has become the focus of city planning at home and abroad. The research of the city from the time, the expressway is consistent with the history of the development of urban size, seen from space, the direction of the expressway with the urban spatial expansion and the development of all kinds of function closely combining. The study of expressway mainly concentrated in the transportation characteristics, expressway project construction, feasibility contact city road import and export. As an important part of urban traffic structure and a direct or indirect traffic carrier of urban active land use area,it is necessary to study the network organization of expressway connection area from the perspective of land use development.First of all, according to the difference of urban expressway traffic conditions surrounding both at home and abroad, puts forward the necessity of expressway connecting area network organizational issues,to clarify the concept of expressway connecting area of land.Review the related literature, such as urban traffic organization and development of expressway, the surrounding road network organization relationship, expressway construction and urban development relations, etc.Made clear according to the summary and case analysis way to continue to study the mode of thought.Secondly, according to the different methods of expressway and the surrounding road network connection, the research object is divided into three categories :class cohesion model step by step,a multi-tiered joining mode and composite mode.On the basis,in accordance with the specific urban expressway cohesion case, the above models are further divided into a variety of secondary.Analysing all kinds of cohesion in macro medium model of traffic organization principles and advantages and disadvantages, and comparative analysis the various transportation mode in qualitative.Thirdly, combined with the actual case, the paper analyzes the traffic organization principle and practical application status under various connection modes in the two aspects of road network organization and land development. At this stage, according to the idea of simple and complicated, the paper analyzes the road network and land use situation of the connection area with a single type of connection mode, and then analyzes the expressway connection area of the city center area, summarizes the various types of connection areas.Road network and land use development indicators, and taking the case city center area as an example, the correlation and regression analysis of the road network and land use indicators. It is found that the rapid road connection mode is diversified, the internal urban road organization is diversified, the land development intensity and the effective street length are all high, and the correlation between the indicators is verified, and the development intensity of the land must be appropriate with the degree of road resource allocation.Under the various connection modes, the characteristics of the land use of the expressway connection area are also analyzed in combination with the case, and the layout differences are summarized, thus completing the research on road connection organization from the expressway connection mode to the connection area, the development of the land use,and then to each other in qualitative and quantitative relationships. Finally, according to the relationship between road network organization and land development intensity under the different connection modes of expressway, the paper proposes a mode of road network organization in the expressway connection area according to multi-level connection, elastic connection and multi-point shunting, which is more conducive to land development and implementation in higher intensity development.
