With the energy crisis and the serious problem of air pollution,many countries are looking for new ways to reduce automobile exhaust pollution and dependence on fosil fuel.New energy vehicles are competitive for their advantage on energy saving and pollution reduction.At present,China has become the world's largest country in the the production and implememtation of electrc vehicles.The design and development of the electric control systems is one of the key technologies of pure electric vehicles.This thesis will describe the design and development of the vehicle control strategy based on the model design approach,by considering actual engineering demands.This thesis chooses the V-model development method according to the comparison between the V-model and the traditonal approach.After the research and practice of the V-model development process,a set of improved procedures has been formulated and applied to the development of the control strategy for this project.The entire control strategy has been divided into three subsystems,including input,control and output.In the control subsystem,the VCU first determines the current operating mode according to driver intention recognition and fault diagnosis information.The controller then implements drive,energy feedback and fault handling algorithms according to different operation modes,and eventually transmitts control commands to other systems.In the actual development process,this thesis divides the control strategy into different function modules and then designs each module in detail under the environment of Matlab/Simulink.The correctness and validity of control strategy has then been tested by using the model-in-the-loop and hardware-in-the-loop simulation approaches.The Simulink code generation tool has been used to convert the control model into embedded C code,which will then be integrated and compiled in the Codewarrior software environment to generate an executable file.At the end,the vehicle controller has been implemented on a test vehicle for field testing and data analysis.Standard calibration tools are utilized to tune parameters of the control strategy on-line in order to meet the demand of the vehicle performance.
