At present,China's power construction has entered a period of vigorous development.Reducing line losses is very important for power supply companies. The analysis of distribution line loss calculation methods and the study of loss-reduction technical measures have important theoretical and practical significance. It is precisely because of this. The theoretical calculation method of line loss has also become a hot topic in the research of academic circles and power supply enterprises, and the technical measures of loss reduction have become the center and important management task of energy-saving work of power supply enterprises. This thesis studies the research situation of line loss calculation at home and abroad, then expounds the cause and classification of line loss, and gives a detailed description and analysis of the two line loss calculation methods of RMS current method and equivalent resistance method..After describing the related line loss concept and calculation method, the equivalent line resistance method is used to calculate the actual line loss of the 10 k V212 Jiaozhuangzhuang line of the 35 k V Dagan Substation of Dawang County Power Supply Company of State Grid and the calculation result based on line loss. The relevant engineering examples of the State Grid Dacheng County Power Supply Company proposed technical measures and management measures to reduce line losses. In this paper, the correctness and feasibility of the equivalent resistance method are tested by practice, and various technical measures for reducing the line loss are proposed. It has important guiding significance and reference value for the production management of power supply enterprises.
