Recently,as the national economy rapidly develop,China's energy consumption is increasing.Under the circumstance of the decreasing energy stock,the problem of energy consumption has become a prerequisite to determine whether the economy can achieve sustainable development.As a significant industry of the national economy,the industry of construction is also facing the increasing energy consumption.Therefore,it is of great significance to study the energy consumption of the construction industry and explore the evolution of energy consumption in the construction industry to reduce energy consumption,and then improve energy consumption efficiency.Based on the above research background,this paper explores the relevant influencing factors of energy intensity in the construction industry from two views: LMDI factor decomposition method and panel data measurement method in order to explore the internal evolution of intensity and seek the development direction of energy conservation and emission reduction in the construction industry.LMDI factor decomposition method is used to analyze the construction of energy consumption intensity from 2000 to 2016 according to the eastern,central and western geographical location is decomposed into structure factor and efficiency factor,explores two large regions of the three factors contribution to the change of building energy consumption intensity,and concluded that the efficiency factor of the influence of the change of energy consumption intensity plays the most important.While considering the limitations of using a research method,this paper uses the panel data of the measurement method from the Angle of regional factors affecting construction energy intensity for further exploration,data from 2000 to 2016 panel data of 30 provinces in our country,from the national and eastern area,middle area and west area four dimensions explore construction rate of labor productivity,construction technology and equipment,construction foreign investment ratio,degree of marketization of construction industry,construction,construction related industry developmen t,the construction energy consumption structure,and the influence of the strength of building energy consumption.Conclusion: labor productivity,technical equipment rate,industrial scale and foreign investment level have significant influence on energy intensity of China's construction industry.The industrial scale,energy consumption structure and marketization degree play a key role of the energy intensity of the construction industry in the eastern region.The industrial scale,marketization degree and labor productivity have a significant effect on the energy intensity of the construction industry in the central region.The industrial scale,energy consumption structure,foreign investment level and related industry development have important impact on the energy consumption intensity of the construction industry in western China.
