After decades of development,China's economy has entered a new stage.The competition among enterprises is not only price competition,but also comprehensive strength competition such as product quality,cost and response speed.As an electronic product manufacturing service provider,B company actively explores new management methods and advanced manufacturing technologies based on existing resources to meet customers' demands for high quality,low cost and quick response.At present,the company mainly produces Xiaodian charge pal(hereafter referred to as XD)for OEM.Because there are three companies producing the product at the same time,only the more competitive company can win more shares of orders.The leaders require all departments to implement lean production,improve production efficiency and enhance the competitiveness.In this thesis,the related technologies and methods of industrial engineering and lean production are synthetically applied.Through on-site observation and system analysis,the XD and their production lines are deeply studied.The purpose is to improve the production efficiency and meet the needs of customers.This thesis introduces the research status of industrial engineering,and takes XD and their production lines as research objects,carrying out continuous improvement activities.Through the observation and data collection on the production site,the main problems existing in the production process were found.By using IE methods such as 5W1 H method,ECRS principle,function analysis and layout optimization,etc.,the process flow optimization,operation action improvement,incoming material packaging simplification,station layout optimization and production line balance rate improvement were carried out to eliminate a lot of waste in the manufacturing process.This thesis proposes two stages for improvement.The first stage of improvement is mainly to shorten the manufacturing process,reduce the total working hours and the total number of workers,and reduce the working hours of operators.However,it increases the number of production lines,from insufficient production capacity to overcapacity,so the second stage of improvement is needed.The second stage of improvement is mainly to reduce the operation time,improve the balance rate of the production line,and reduce the number of production lines,so that the production capacity can better match the order demand.Through this improvement activity,the production efficiency of XD is increased by 95.2%.The research results of this thesis provide useful experience for similar enterprises to improve production efficiency.
