Urban water supply system is an important life project of a city.Whether the urban water supply network and its facilities are perfect or not,and whether its functions are sound,directly relates to the safety and reliability of the water supply network.With the continuous development of social economy,people's living standards have been improved to a certain extent,the scope of urbanization has gradually increased,the complexity of underground water supply network system has gradually increased,and the traditional management technology and methods of water supply network are increasingly difficult to meet the current development needs.Guiding the management of water suppl y network by using Geographic Information and System has been a common goal of water supply industry.Many domestic water supply companies have established GIS geographic information system,but they mainly stay on the daily collection of GIS pipeline network data.The large amount of data advantages of GIS have not been developed and utilized in depth,which leads to the insufficient integration of GIS and actual pipeline network management business,weak processing capacity and not giving full play to its technical advantages.In this paper,Jiangyin water supply enterprises as the research background,based on a large number of domestic and foreign literature data and actual business needs of water supply companies,to achieve the upgrading of water supply network GIS system and application research.The purpose of this paper is to innovate and practice the in-depth application of GIS water supply network geographic information system.By forecasting the current water supply network and the future development of the city,the original water supply network information management system is redeveloped to realize the static and dynamic data management of the network;the online release of monitoring data of the network;the whole process management and maintenance operation of the pipeline network on-site.Pipeline network accident management.In the research process of this paper,firstly,the current situation and problems of water supply network and management are analyzed.On the basis of full investigation,the overall requirements of upgrading and transformation of water supply network GIS system are put forward,and the overall functional module requirements of the system are designed.Secondly,in the preliminary preparatory work,the general survey of water supply network and the establishment of valve files are carried out to improve the data information of GIS pipeline network,and maintain its data continuously to ensure the real-time and accuracy of the data of pipeline network.Thirdly,the specific content of upgrading and transformation of water supply network GIS system is analyzed and functional module design is made,in which how to achieve the optimal shutdown scheme is studied in detail.Finally,the system has been applied in Jiangsu Jiangnan Water Co.,Ltd.and the application of the system in pipe network equipment-valve management and field pipe network accident treatment has been analyzed with examples.Through the deep combination with the actual business,the practical application of the system has achieved remarkable results and benefits: improving the efficiency and quality of line patrol,improving the quality control ability of the pipeline network on-site work,and improving the maintenance efficiency of the pipeline network on-site;through the scientific and rapid generation of shutdown schemes,not only shorten the maintenance time,save the amount of leakage water,save the on-site manpower,but also reduce the water shutdown to users.Negative impacts on society.According to t he data analysis,the 24-hour solution rate of pipeline maintenance increased from 91.5% to 100%,the 4-hour shut-off time increased from 95.3% to 99.5%,the delay solution rate of pipeline network maintenance increased from 98.2% to 99.6%,and the timely repair rate of leakage increased from 97.2% to 99.9%.Practice has proved that the upgraded function module of the GIS system has practical application value and popularization prospect in the application of water supply network management business.Although the design of the system is based on the scientific management of water supply network in Jiangyin City,its design ideas and specific application cases are of great reference significance to other cities and other industries.
