The load management unit acts as a measurement control management unit for satellites and payloads.It is responsible for testing and controlling payloads in conjunction with satellites,receiving ground control instructions through pl atforms,and implementing specific tasks.Its essence is a processor.The core control system.In this paper,a new type of satellite load management unit is developed by analyzing the demand of information processing and real-time measurement and control capability of the current satellite load equipment,and aiming at the new demand of future load application.Firstly,through the research and analysis of the current situation of the design and development methods of the load management unit at home and abroad,combined with the current technology design and development capabilities in China,the overall scheme of the load management unit is put forward.The system takes DSP and FPGA as the core control system to meet the computing capacity requirements of load information processing;With modular design,the core functions are divided into eight modules to facilitate the system expansion;The data interaction of the eight core function modules and the information interaction between the load management unit and the space vehicle are realized by using the multi-bus interconnection of CAN bus and RS-485 bus;At the same time,in order to ensure that the function can be extended,an extensible hard connection modular architecture design is adopted.On the basis of the design of the hardware structure of the system,it also focused on the special needs of the actual application environment for the working state of the load management unit,and carried out the emergency work mode design work and passed the state transfer design.The practical engineering applications such as control of irreversible operation state of load task are solved.Secondly,on the basis of the scheme design,the eight core functional modules of the system are divided into: power supply transformation module,control processing module,telemetry collection module,external bus module,distribution control module,fire engineering management module,and radio frequency detection module.As well as the internal bus module,the detailed hardwar e design is carried out,and the key links in the reliability engineering are described.In the software section,based on the analysis of the software functional requirements of the DSP application layer,the overall software scheme is proposed and the so ftware design is completed based on TI's integrated development tool C5000 Code Computer Studio.The software architecture adopts the modular approach,adopts the instruction sequence sequence execution in the working mode and is supplemented with the interrupt response mode to ensure the timeliness of the external response of a large number of interfaces.Finally,the system of satellite load management unit developed in this paper is tested and verified by ground test equipment.The test and verification results show that the function and performance of the integrated satellite load management unit meet the design requirements.Actual on-orbit flights have now been completed.
