With the development of economy and the acceleration of urbanization process,the population density of urban areas has risen sharply,followed by the expansion of urban area and the emergence of the construction of new urban areas.The improvement of infrastructure is the foundation of urban construction and the guarantee for the formation of new urban areas.Rational optimization of infrastructure has become a core issue in the construction of new urban areas.Municipal pipelines,including water supply pipelines,gas pipelines and power systems,should reasonably arrange the direction of each pipeline to ensure that the layout of each pipeline is reasonable and the construction is smooth.The construction of supporting facilities in new urban areas should also rely on the existing pipelines in old urban areas.Therefore,the construction of new urban areas is also a test for the old urban areas.In order to ensure the normal use of the old urban area,the first point in the construction of the new urban area will be to find the water source.The water source must be abundant,which can ensure the water supply of the old urban area,but also the water supply needs of the new urban area.Therefore,the choice of water sources should be combined with the city's recent and long-term planning and development layout to ensure the water quality safety and water supply of the whole water system.Firstly,this paper carries out a series of analysis and Research on the geographical location and surrounding environment of Binshui New Town,so as to determine the urban scale of the city,and lay a foundation for the future water demand prediction and water source selection.Secondly,according to the previous determination of the size of the urban area,according to the relevant norms,the comprehensive water consumption index method is used to determine the water demand of the area is 1.0×104 m~3/d.Based on the analysis of the existing water plants in Liaozhong and the water quality of each water plant,the water source selection in this area is determined,and the West Water Plant is transformed as the water source of the new urban area.After determining the water demand and water source in this area,in view of the advantages and disadvantages of various pipe materials,economic and technological comparison and the actual situation in this area,it is determined that PE pipe and ductile iron pipe are the pipes needed for the construction of water supply network in this area.According to the principle,basis and standard of pipe network design,the planning and design of pipeline and distribution network are carried out,and the adjustment calculation of pipe network is carried out.Determine the diameter and pressure of the pipeline in the area.At last,this paper analyses the investment estimation of water supply system,the cost of water production and the measures of water saving and energy saving in Binhai New Town,in order to ensure the maximum benefit of water supply in this area.Through the analysis and study of the above contents,the rational planning,design and research of the water supply system of Binhai New Town are carried out to determine the rationality of the pipe material,pipe diameter,pipe pressure and pipeline direction selected for the water supply network in this area,so as to ensure the stability of the water supply environment in the future,the safety of water supply quality and the maximization of the economic benefits of the water supply system in this area.
