Water is the source of life and the indispensable part of human existence.The demand for urban water supply is growing rapidly nowadays because of the mass urbanization,large-scale constructions and rapid growth of population.The water pipelines are laying densely underground in every single city.And they are still keeping growing and extending,which causes security issues on water supply.The change of pipe network water quality is getting more and more public's attention.The finished water get polluted during its conveying process in the pipelines,which causes the decline of water quality.That's the reason why sometimes we find suspended particles,smell of chlorine,odors and colors in tap water.Therefore,the study of pipe network water quality change is essential to improve the water quality and ensure the security of water supply for citizens.This paper studies the change of water quality in Jinan city based on consulting summarizing and analyzing a large number of relevant literature.The main works of my research include:(1)Investigating the distribution of water resources of Jinan,the penetration of water supply and the components of water pipelines,etc,to get a systematical summary on the current water supply situation of Jinan city.(2)Investigating the water quality change rule by sampling and testing the network water,obtaining the sensory,physical,metal and microorganism indexes.(3)Testing and investigating the attenuation rule of the residual chlorine in network water.(4)Studying the assessment method of network water and evaluating the network water of Jinan.(5)Studying the method to maintain and improve the network water quality.Jinan is rich in water resources.There are three main river basins in Jinan city,the Yellow River basin,the Xiaoqinghe river basin and the Haihe River basin.But the uneven distribution of water resources brings the low utilization.There are10 large water works supplying water from Yellow River,reservoirs and underground water.Most pipes of water supply network are mainly made by gray cast iron,PE,ductile iron and some other materials.The water supply pipelines are about 1,420 km long,covering 92% of the city.The paper introduces four kinds of pipe network water quality indexes of the experiment methods,including turbidity,color,smell,taste and other sensory indexes,pH,total hardness,chloride,fluoride and sulfate physical and inorganic matter indexes,zinc,iron,chromium(VI),lead,copper,selenium and other metal indexes and the number of escherichia colis,the total number of the colonies health indexes.The conclusion of the experiments is that the water in the networkpipes is in line with the national drinking water health standard.The paper describes the attenuation law of the residual chlorine of the water in the network pipelines.I have a certain understanding of the attenuation law of residual chlorine influenced by many factors through data integration and analysis under the method of exponential fitting.My paper takes the residual chlorine test value as the reference to make a fuzzy mathematics evaluation.The result of the evaluation comes out the network water quality is good and safe.The advise for ensuring the network water quality is to protect the water quality of the water source,improve the stability of the finished water and comprehensively upgrade the water supply pipelines.Establish the complete emergency system is also helpful in ensuring the network water quality.
