The South China Sea is a vast area with many islands. It has remarkable tropical marine climate characteristics of high temperature, high humidity, strong radiation, high wind speed and high salt fog.Nowadays, the development of South China Sea islands is becoming more and more popular, but there is no corresponding building energy-saving standards and systems to guide the construction.Because of the particularity of the South China Sea islands, the field experiments can not be carried out frequently. It is urgent to build a wind tunnel which can reproduce the actual atmospheric environment of the South China Sea islands. The difficulty of building this wind tunnel lies in the control of salt concentration in wet air.A set of strategies for controlling salt fog concentration is needed.Based on the existing hot and humid climate wind tunnels, the following work has been carried out in this paper:1.Modify the hot and humid climate wind tunnel and determine the experimental scheme. The salt fog generator and atmospheric acquisition device in hot and humid climate wind tunnel are introduced, and the wind field in the wind tunnel is tested and analyzed.Based on the typical meteorological year parameters of the South China Sea islands(JGJ346T-2014),the experimental scheme and working conditions of the first stage of the experiment are formulated.2.Experimental study on the influence of meteorological factors on salt concentration in wet air.Through the single variable experiment of temperature, relative humidity and wind speed, the influence of meteorological factors on salt concentration in wet air was found. The results show that the higher the temperature is,the higher the concentration of salt in the humid air is,the higher the diffusion rate and settling rate of salt spray particles are;in the relative humidity range of 65%~85%,the salt concentration in the humid air increases with the increase of relative humidity, and the salt spray diffusion rate increases in the hot and humid climate wind tunnel;in the wind speed range of 0.5m/s~2.5m/s,with the increase of relative humidity, the salt spray diffusion rate increases with the increase of relative humidity. With the increase of wind speed, the concentration of salt in wet air in hot and humid climate wind tunnel decreases, and the sedimentation rate decreases. The size of wind speed is the dominant factor affecting the concentration of salt in wet air in wind tunnel, and the degree of influence on the concentration of salt in wet air is more significant than that of temperature and relative humidity.3.Study on control strategy of salt fog concentration in hot and humid climate wind tunnel. In this study,we selected typical weather days of several islands, through the retrofitted hot and humid climate wind tunnel, taking the wind speed as the sole factor to formulate the control strategy of salt fog concentration, and carried out the experiment of the actual Island saline atmospheric environment construction. The results show that the salt fog concentration control strategy dominated by wind speed can stabilize the salt concentration of wet air in the wind tunnel at(6+1)mgNaCl/m~3 and get the recommended strategies for building the actual salt fog environment under different wind speed conditions. In this paper, the influence of climatic factors(temperature, relative humidity and wind speed)on salt concentration in humid air in hot and humid climate wind tunnels is studied experimentally, and the recommended strategies of salt fog concentration control under different wind speed conditions are summarized through the actual atmospheric environment repetition experiments on typical weather days on islands.
