Overlapping Coexistence

With the rapid development of China's economy,many problems have arisen in the field of contemporary architecture with the urban population growing rapidly,the gradually decreasing of exploitable land resources,and the increasingly serious contradiction between architectural space and social demands.Based on these,micro-architecture that has always been a marginal topic,deserves our research and exploration.Taking the application research of the modular design of micro-architecture as the starting point,this thesis makes a study on the conceptual theory and its practice of the modular design of contemporary micro-architecture,summarizing its development process,characteristics and applications.By generalizing and analyzing the designs of micro-architecture in urban landscape,in public facilities,in residential architectures and so on,this thesis aims to explore the development trend of modular design and application of micro-architecture,and to provide reference for the future micro-architecture modular design practice.This thesis is divided into four parts:The first part introduces the background,purpose and significance of the research on the applications of modular design of micro-architecture,as well as the analysis of the current researches of the modular design of micro-architecture.The second part is about the definition of the modular design of micro-architecture and its development process.This part explores the characteristics of modularization of micro-architecture through the study of micro-architectural theory and its related case design concepts.The third part explores the applications of the modular design of micro-architecture in different fields.This part first analyzes the reasons for the modularization of micro-architecture,then explores the modular designs of micro-architecture,and finally the applications of modular design of micro-architecture in urban landscape,public facilities and residential buildings.The fourth part is about the research of the experimental project of the modularization of micro-architecture.Taking the micro-house design in Jingxiu community in Hangzhou as the subject,this thesis considers the essence and presentation of the applications of the modular design of micro-architecture by ways of project investigation,data collection,module analysis and so on.The final conclusion summarizes the value and significance of the applications of the modular design of contemporary micro-architecture,and proposes relative reflections and outlooks.
