At present,China’s construction industry is vigorously promoting the application and development of BIM(Building Information Modeling)technology in practical engineering projects,so many small and medium-sized BIM software solutions are derived.However,due to the imperfection of current BIM specifications in China and the uneven relevant technologies,the application of BIM technology in actual engineering projects will encounter such phenomena as "information island" and "information fault",failing to achieve BIM solutions in the real sense.Therefore,the development of a complete set of BIM information integration system software has become the development trend and research focus of the BIM industry.This paper takes the structural information in the architectural design process as the main research content,and based on the current widely used Revit series software in the industry,the design information of Guangsha Structural Design Software(GSCAD)is used as the main structural information source.In order to use the Revit API for secondary development,embedded in the SQLite database,the system function of structural information integration and Web-side model lightweighting is built on the basis of the Revit platform.The system functions include external structure design information reading,database information management operations,structural geometry modeling,steel bar modeling,and lightweight file export.Finally,a high-rise apartment project in Shenzhen city was used to test the functionality and practicability of the whole structural information integration system and the lightweight Web model.The test shows that the Revit-based structural information integration system and the Web-side model lightweighting function developed in this paper solves the shortcomings of Revit software in structural information integration and management capabilities,and simplifies the user’s use of structural information data to simulate the model.The test shows that the Revit-based structural information integration system and the Web-side model lightweighting function developed in this paper solves the shortcomings of Revit software in structural information integration and management capabilities,and simplifies the user’s use of structural information data to simulate the model.Breaking the constraint that professional software is required to view the BIM 3d structural model.This paper solves the structural information fault problem of Revit software in BIM architectural design process theoretically and technically,and improves the efficiency and convenience of modeling.This lays the foundation for the information cooperation work and management operation and maintenance requirements in the whole life cycle of the building.Therefore,the Revit-based structural information integration and Web-side model lightweighting studied in this paper have high practical value and application prospects.
