Based On The Health Perspective,the Research Of Restorative Environment In University Campus And Spatial Optimization

The people's health is closely related to environment,which promotes or damages people's health by influencing their psychology and behavior.With the development of urbanization,the area of relatively natural environment in the city,such as green space and parks,is gradually compressed,and the opportunities for people to be closed to nature are greatly reduced.In addition,the negative impact of the high-stress environment caused by modern urban life,negative emotions cannot be eliminated,and people's health is declining day by day.How to improve the urban environment and people's health,is the focus of current social attention.The development of the economy has made the development of higher education,flexible learning space and pleasant campus environment are becoming the new requirements for higher education institutions.The university campus is an important part of the urban environment and open to public,it is also a supplement to urban greening and public facilities,therefore,as an environment closely related to urban residents,teachers and students,university campuses play an important roles in promoting urban health and reducing stress.In recent years,the concept of “restorative environment” has been proposed,which shows that an environment has the potential to reduce stress and mental fatigue,and to help people keep their physical and mental health by promoting physical exercise and resolving negative emotions.Combining the restorative environment with the university campus space environment is of great significance for solving these social public health problems.The study of restorative environment was first carried out in the west,so there are a lot of foreign language materials related to this field.I spent one year as an exchange student in the University of Nottingham during my master's study,and taking the application of restorative environment research in university campus as the thesis topic that year.Field visits,interviews and questionnaires were conducted in the university of Nottingham and the university of Nottingham Trent University.Based on the data analysis and summary,this paper expounds how to improve the recovery of the environment of the park-type university campus(large campus area,large external space)and the urban university campus(mainly composed of buildings,almost no external space).Through the research,I deeply felt the significance of the research on restorative environment.Therefore,this topic continues to be the theme of the graduation thesis of Shenzhen University.Based on the previous research results,the actual cases of domestic universities are combined and analyzed.This paper takes the external environment and built environment of the campuses of Nottingham University,Nottingham Trent University and Shenzhen University as the research objects,focusing on the behavior and psychological needs of urban residents,campus teachers and students and other campus users,and combining literature theory and field research results.The first part elaborates the research background and the domestic and foreign research present situation,proposed the main research methods.In the second part,theories related to the restorative environment are sorted out as the basis for research and strategy,such as the definition of restorative environment and health,and the attention restoration theory.In the third part,the evolution process of university campus is sorted out,and the conclusion that modern education needs flexible teaching space and pleasant campus environment is drawn.In addition,the behavior characteristics and recovery demand of campus users are analyzed and summarized.Finally,the concept and characteristics of restorative environment of university campus are elaborated in combination with the theory in chapter two.The fourth part of the three representative sites of the university campus observation,questionnaire survey,summed up the specific impact of the campus user recovery effect of behavioral and psychological factors.In the last part,combined with literature theory,the optimization strategy of improving the quality of campus environment and improving the recovery of campus environment is put forward,and illustrated with examples.
