Research On Inclusive Design Of Urban Subway Station Space Based On The Perspective Of Aging

Subway is an important form of urban public transportation and an infrastructure service built by many large cities to meet their own development needs.It plays an important role in easing the pressure of urban traffic.At the same time,it also conforms to the trend of low-carbon transportation development.With the rapid growth of aging in China,the population structure of people traveling by subway is also changing.The rapid increase of the frequency of elderly people from different age groups taking the subway leads to the increasingly defects in the design of the current subway station space for the elderly.The author conducted a survey on Beijing,Shanghai,guangzhou,shenzhen and nanchang.Research results show that in the domestic one,second-tier cities,the space design of subway exit and entrance,station hall,platform and the design of the auxiliary function space such as toilets,the design of marking system and the public facilities all can’t timely adjust for optimum aging problem,which making the elderly in subways feel convenient enough.It also leads to a series of problems for the elderly when they take subways.The focus of this paper is to explore the inclusive design of subway station space for the elderly.By analyzing and studying the aging classification and behavior characteristics of the aging population,this paper summarizes the mental state and site needs of the elderly in the underground space environment.Based on this,this paper introduces the design status and problems of the subway station space.This paper adopts the method of combining horizontal contrast with vertical depth.Take the function of the space environment of domestic subway station,the design of space decoration and intellectualization as the entry point.Based on environmental psychology,sociology and other disciplines,this paper puts forward suggestions on the improvement of the appropriateness of the elderly in subway space by combining the methods of times,theory and practice.It is concluded that in the context of aging society,the direction of in-depth research,design and innovation of domestic subway station space is needed.This paper attempts to draw the development blueprint of the future subway station space design by using the method of integration and development.Based on the above research contents,this paper analyzes the practical cases of inclusive design in the design of subway station space in China.According to theproblems proposed in the study,through design and practice,a set of relatively perfect scheme which can effectively solve difficulties that the elderly take subways conveniently is designed,and effective design points and ideas about the design and further development of domestic subway station space for the elderly are put forward.
