The small solid rocket,which is a highly concerned and widely studied research object,has outstanding characteristics,include low launching cost,fast response speed and strong adaptability.The small solid rocket flight simulation can analyze system comprehensively and evaluate all phases completely which consist of program demonstration,technical indicators determination,design analysis,experimental test and maintenance training.This simulation is of great significance to the development of small solid rocket.The development of flight simulation system is based on the real composition of the small solid rocket.Developing each module independently ensures low coupling among each module,which provides scalability for subsequent access to more complex modules.The reusability and interoperability in High Level Architecture(HLA)ens ure the reuse of module resources and work together effectively,which is benefit to accomplish small solid rocket flight simulation.Based on the above background,the small solid rocket flight simulation technology research was studied in this paper.In order to decide simulation technical scheme and achieve the goal of studying small solid rocket flight simulation based on HLA distributed simulation,the small solid rocket flight simulation system was designed comprehensively,in terms of analyzing requirements,dividing composition and designing experiment.In order to build mathematical simulation modes,the small solid rocket was divided into several part and analyzed in terms of dynamics,internal ballistics of motor and aerodynamics.Then,mathematical simulation model set was established by using Simulink visual modeling technology.Meanwhile,Six degrees of freedom model and solid rocket motor model were tested in the mathematical simulation model set.The test result demonstrated consistency of the model function and requirements of small solid rocket flight simulation.In order to implement the communication among mathematical simulation models,HLA distributed simulation platform was built.In addition,function and real-time property of the platform were tested and the results showed that the platform met requirements of small solid rocket flight simulation.In order to make mathematical model join HLA federation,a critical step in constructing HLA federation,was efficiently and simply completed by the proposed method which was based on plug-in concept in this paper.Based above content,the small solid rocket flight simulation federation based on HLA was built by making mathematical simulation models join HLA distributed simulation platform.The simulation federation was used to simulate a small solid rocket flight and complete wind compensation experiment.Experimental result demonstrated the feasibility of the simulation technical scheme and the correctness of the simulation system.
