In recent years,with the emergence of shared bicycles and the continuous development of public bicycles,bicycle traffic has gradually returned to the city.However,due to the lack of the " People-Based " concept in the previous traffic development,the bicycle road network planning has been lagging behind for a long time,which makes the current travel space and travel demand mismatch in bicycle traffic travel very prominent.The bicycle road network is the key to constructing a friendly bicycle travel environment.In the traditional road network planning method,it takes a lot of time and manpower to determine the bicycle traffic core,the travel cell division,and the current OD data survey.With the advent of the era of big data,data that can be used for bicycle road network planning has emerged,providing new ideas for solving the above problems.This paper firstly investigates and analyzes the current situation of bicycle traffic in the main urban area of Xi'an.After analyzing,it points out that the lack of travel space,the difficulty of travel safety,and the poor travel experience are the main problems in bicycle travel at this stage.The poor continuity,the mismatch between the road network structure and the actual function are the main causes of the above problems.Secondly,this paper sorts out the bicycle road network planning theory,and analyzes and expounds the significance,planning principles and planning methods of bicycle road network planning.In the bicycle road network planning,the spatial distribution of functional areas in the planning area is an important basis for determining the bicycle traffic core and dividing the bicycle community.The traditional functional area distribution analysis is mostly based on field survey or expert evaluation.The workload is large and the reliability of the analysis results is difficult to guarantee.In this regard,this paper proposes a method for spatial distribution identification of urban functional areas based on POI data.Taking the main urban area of Xi'an as an example,the spatial distribution of functional areas in this area is identified by principal component analysis based on POI data and road network data.In addition,in view of the difficulty in obtaining OD data in the traditional bicycle road network planning method,the method of obtaining shared bicycle data through network crawling and the extraction algorithm of bicycle OD data are proposed.Through the network crawling,the whole-day position data of the Mobike bicycle in the main urban area was obtained,and the effective travel OD data was extracted by the algorithm.Based on the OD data,the time and space characteristics of the bicycle travel in the main urban area were analyzed,and the bicycle was cycled.The analysis of spatio-temporal features further validates the reliability of spatial distribution identification results of urban functional areas based on POI data.Finally,based on the actual case,this paper makes use of the POI data-based urban function area spatial distribution analysis results and the Mobike OD travel data and TransCAD to improve the bicycle road network in the selected case area.
