Research Of TOD Model Of Suburban New Town Under Multi-level Rail Transit System

Many large cities at home and abroad have built a suburban new town to achieve the goal of transforming the city from a single-center development to a multi-center development.Due to its large passenger volume and fast speed,rail transit has become the main public transportation link between many large cities and suburban new towns and urban areas.the way.Practices at home and abroad have proved that the TOD model based on rail transit has become the consensus of major cities in the world in the development of suburban new towns and rail transit.This paper compares and analyzes the construction of suburban new towns under the guidance of different public transportation modes.On the basis of pointing out the types of suburban new cities to which various public transportation modes are applicable,this paper expounds the limitations of single rail transit in the construction of TOD mode in suburban new towns.The scope of application,combined with the multi-level rail transit system case constructed by large cities and cities in China and abroad for different travel distances and different modes of travel in the suburbs,proposes the applicability and necessity of multi-level rail transit system to the suburban new city TOD model;The qualitative and quantitative analysis of the suburban new town cases under the multi-level rail transit system at home and abroad,summarizing the characteristics of the suburban new town planning under the multilevel rail transit system and the experience that can be learned;further from the overall level of the suburban new city and rail transit At the core area of the site,the multi-level TOD mode construction method and specific mode of the suburban new city under the multi-level rail transit system are described.Finally,combined with the planning and design case of the new town in the suburbs of Macao,the multi-level TOD model construction method of the suburban new city under the guidance of the multi-level rail transit system will be applied to the actual case.
