In the renewal design of campus planning,it is very important to study the characteristics of crowd activities in the campus for understanding the spatial relationship of the campus,and it is an important decision-making basis for formulating the renewal plan of campus planning.Traditional campus planning and renewal design mainly relies on the observational research,empirical judgment and questionnaire survey of the designers.It is difficult to fully understand the real use of campus space.With the rapid development of computer technology and mobile network,on the one hand,the analysis and quantification research based on big data has attracted more and more attention of researchers.On the other hand,the application of computer technology in simulation is also an effective technical means.Through simulation,we can not only reproduce the complex situation of reality,but also compare and evaluate various parameters to find a better solution.Taking Wushan Campus of South China University of Technology as an example,this paper combines the data of Tencent's wechat heatmap with Arc GIS to analyze the spatial and temporal distribution characteristics of crowd activities on campus.On this basis,combined with GAMA platform,the simulation model of campus walking system is preliminarily established,and the use of campus space and the running status of walking system are quantitatively analyzed and evaluated by the evaluation index of the simulation model,and corresponding improvement suggestions are put forward,which provides the basis for analysis and decision-making for future campus renewal.This paper can be divided into four parts.The first part is the introduction part of the first chapter of this article.Through reading the literature,the author study the relevant background knowledge,understand the relevant research status both domestic and abroad,and clarify the research problems and research methods.The second part is Chapter 2 to Chapter 5 of this paper.This part elaborates the process of establishing the simulation model of campus walking system.The simulation model includes four steps: data collection,model design,field survey and model validation.In the part of data collection,the author uses big data analysis to collect the spatial and temporal information of crowd activities;in the part of model design,the author designs a simulation model of campus pedestrian system based on the travel information of campus crowd;in the part of field survey,the author collects the traffic information of main roads on campus through campus surveillance video;in the part of model validation,the author compares the measured data and simulation data.According to the correlation analysis and regression analysis,the campus simulation model is verified and accurate.The third part is the sixth chapter of this paper.Based on the campus simulation model,this part analyses and evaluates the current situation of the campus spatial structure and road network structure,and puts forward corresponding improvement suggestions according to the analysis and evaluation results.The fourth part is the seventh chapter of this paper.In this part,the author makes a more indepth discussion on the application of the campus simulation model,and summarizes the existing problems and shortcomings,providing a reference for future research.
