| With the growth of our country’s economic strength, the improvement of comprehensive national strength and the high attention paid to cultural construction by the state, local museums,as the public carrier of propaganda of local culture, have formed a certain scale in various regions and cities of our country, but because of their long use time, many local museum facilities are old and unable to meet the cultural life of contemporary people.Since the 21 st century, due to the development of economy and the support of the government for the construction of local culture,China has ushered in a new wave of local museums. However, the local museums have been built in different ways. Some local museums share the same regional style, abuse traditional elements and become face projects, which do not really form the local people’s identity. How to realize the regionality, uniqueness and epochality of local museums has become an important topic in architecture research.Firstly, through the introduction of the research background, the paper draws out the problems of contemporary museum design in China. The introduction of the concept of "In-situ" mainly solves the problem of "aphasia" of architecture brought about by international modern architecture, also solves the problem of similarity in style brought about by "regionalism" and emphasizes the return of architectural design to the site and the response to practical problems, which has theoretical and practical significance for the design of local museums.Through the study and interpretation of " In-situ",the paper concludes the principles of local design, and combines them with the design elements of local museums, namely, overall planning, external image, internal space and site landscape. With the relevant excellent Museum cases as evidence, the paper concludes the local museum design strategies. Finally, the paper combines theory with practice, takes the design of Jingshan Museum as an example, applies the local museum design strategy to the design practice, and summarizes the research results and practice. |
