In recent years,China has actively implemented energy conservation and emission reduction,and vigorously developed a conservation-oriented economy.This brings a huge impact on building energy conservation.With a typically high energy consumption,public buildings have always been one of the focuses of building energy conservation.With the implementation of energy conservation policies,the high energy consumption of university buildings is becoming more prominent.With the increasing emphasis on education in China,the number of teachers and students in colleges and universities will see a constant rise for a long time.Therefore,vigorously promoting the construction of conservation-oriented colleges and universities,and carrying out energy-saving in colleges and universities will be the future focus of building energy conservation.As a leading institution in medical research and education,university A,like other colleges and universities,have the characteristics of large energy consumption,various building types,complex energy consumption and great potential for energy conservation.As early as 2010,the university had set up a power management platform in accordce to relevant national policies.However,due to some reasons,the utilization of the platform is limited to data monitoring,and the other practical functions of the platform have not been fully utilized.The statistical analysis of the power consumption data of scientific research buildings of the university accumulated in many years has not been conducted.Therefore,this study compared the building energy consumption of the actual scenario and the simulated scenario of the power consumpation based on the data collected from the power management platform of the medical university and the data.Scientific and practical energy saving measures are recommended based on the comparison for better energy saving in colleges and universities.This paper first presents the basic situation of the studied university and its overall energy consumption characteristics based on the total energy consumption data in recent years.Through the analysis,the energy consumption characteristics and pattern of the university was clearly revealed.Secondly,through the statistics of the power consumption data of the highly representative scientific research buildings,to be specific,through the analysis of different projects with high power consumption,the power consumption characteristics of the scientific research buildings are summed up.Furthermore,typical buildings were selected to simulate the energy consumption with the software DeST and with consideration of other energy saving potentials,the energy saving measures which are pertinent and operable were formulated.The energy saving measures established through the above path,effectively considering the situation and characteristics of the building energy consumption of the university,could help relevant departments in energy saving management and colleges and universities for energy conservation,and realize the construction of the energy-saving universities.The study provides theoretical support and practical reference for the development of energy saving measures in China's colleges and universities,which has some theoretical and practical significance.
