Double tracked vehicle can travel in swamps?deserts?snow and soft soil road etc,as a result of the vehicle have articulated mechanism?four-wheel-drive and Wide track?This paper analyzes the principle of double tracked vehicle,and the vehicle is moving in a straightline traction performance calculation.Analysis of kinematics and dynamics of the articulated mechanism for vehicle,carries on the analysis on mechanical properties of clay,wetland soil.The travel mechanism analysis,using PROE software and RecurDyn software,the virtual prototype model of the travel mechanism and the articulated mechanism.On the basis of vehicles using the road,construction of the ground model,build the final complete model.After analyzed the vehicle line running conditions,get the performance characteristics and parameters of the vehicle on the straight road.Verified by simulation analysis of the articulated tracked vehicle on hard ground,dry sand ground line normal,marshy ground,clay road and the snow road driving conditions.The travel mechanism of wheel vertical force and driving wheel torque analysis,obtained the characteristics of double track in the marsh ground,dry sand pavement and rigid pavement,road driving wheel torque.Analysis of the double tracked vehicle climbing process simulation based on the drive,the driving model is constructed,the vehicle in differential lockout and two kinds of state,the driving control model of Double Tracked Vehicle Multi-body Dynamics Model and differential and locking,climbing simulation of rigid road,clay,heavy clay road and dry sand road,analysis of travel mechanism working conditions under the organization of climbing ability,analysis of the height of grouser effects on climbing ability.Through the simulation of double tracked vehicle is climbing out,differential lockout can improve the double tracked vehicle climbing through;change the grouser height when the vehicle can be improved by in cohesive soils,but very little influence on the friction of the soil,can be neglected.The ability of double tracked vehicle on passing obstacle was investigated by passing a perpendicular obstacle with a 0.6 meter high and a horizontal obstacle with 1.5 meter wide.The stability of the vehicle doing the crossing obstacle the first wheel had a maximum impact obstacle in the process of the weighted root,the mean square acceleration effect is very big.Therefore,in order to enhance the confort ability of the vehicle,the double tracked vehicle speed should be reduced as low as possible.At the same time that the feasibility of the articulated tracked vehicle design and simulation calculation by using the multi-body dynamics theory.
