Digitalized virtual prototype technique is an important method which can shorten the study and development period of vehicle, improve quality of products design and manufacture. As the gradual maturity of virtual production development and manufacture technique, computer simulation technology has been used widely. System dynamics simulation is the key point of digitalized virtual prototype technique. As for the vehicle, its dynamics performance is very important. In order to minimizing the risk of the study and development on products,it is important to simulate vehicle dynamics performance and optimize parameter by digitalized virtual prototype before the production of sample car.The front McPherson Suspension dynamics simulation model of some car has been built in the Mechanical System Simulation software ADAMS/CAR,based on the relative motion relationship of the suspension assembly and their parameters, kinematics simulation analysis has been carried out, variation regularity of the suspension parameters has been analyzed when the car was running.Kinematics sensitivity analysis and optimum structure of the built-up model has been done in ADAMS/Insight,based on the suspension parameters analysis before. Then the structure SIMPLEX of suspension system can be achieved, the effect is obvious.Furthermore whole vehicle model has been built based on ADAMS,which include the models of front suspension, rear suspension, steering, wheels and body. Based on the controllability and stability test procedure for automobiles, GB/T6323.1-94~GB/T6323.6-94,take Return ability test,Steering efforts test procedure,Steady static circular test procedure. And analysis the structural parameter of front suspension and so on affects' on the car's controllability and stability.
