Tibetan dwelling is an indispensable part of traditional Chinese architecture,with unique design style.Its architectural forms are diverse,flexible layout,and mostly built on mountains.Most of the existing Tibetan dwellings are self-built,that is,there is no formal survey and design,no formal construction team,no supervision and construction.Therefore,such buildings are faced with the disadvantages of improper site selection,unreasonable structural layout and no normative basis.There are potential safety hazards in engineering construction.In order to evaluate the seismic performance of Tibetan dwellings correctly,this paper chooses a typical Tibetan dwelling rammed earth wall-wood structure form to study the seismic performance based on the seismic theory of existing related types of structures.The specific research methods and contents are as follows:(1)Investigate the typical cases of rammed earth wall-wood structure building of Tibetan dwellings in Ganzi Tibetan Autonomous Prefecture and Aba Tibetan Qiang Autonomous Prefecture of Sichuan Province,analyze the structural characteristics of this kind of building,and classify and discuss the damage forms of key structural components such as vertical and horizontal walls,wooden beams,wooden columns,and determine the overall failure mode of this kind of Tibetan dwellings.(2)Through on-site investigation and literature review,a typical Tibetan dwelling rammed earth wall-wood structure building is selected as the research object;material parameters and similarity ratio are determined from the test results of timber properties,model is made according to 1/8 scale and shaking table test is carried out;test results are collected to analyze the damage phenomena of this kind of structure.(3)Using ABAQUS software,the finite element model is established through existing material parameters,and structural static analysis,modal analysis and dynamic analysis are carried out.The validity of the results of the model is verified by shaking table test,and the seismic response characteristics of this kind of building are analyzed to provide a basis for subsequent structural reinforcement.
