| With the rapid development of China’s power grid, the scale of distribution network is also expanding, and users’ requirements for the safety and reliability of power supply network are constantly increasing. This is mainly reflected in the efficiency requirements for fault recovery and the time needed to position the fault when it occurs. The damage caused by power failure can be controlled within the minimum range if the positioning and isolating of fault area could be completed in short period of time. The required operating environment is complex due to the overhead lines are basically transmitted over long distances. There is relatively high probability of faults in various types, which result in high requirement on maintenance work from power suppliers. In addition, due to the large number of branch lines and complex structure, the timely fault positioning of longdistance electric transmission distribution network is difficult. The dependence on electricity from all industries is increased as the domestic urbanization is accelerating, any power failure might result in large economic loss. The domestic power supply strategy proposed in 2009 is to establish strong smart grid by 2020.This paper discusses research background and status of distribution network automation in domestic and abroad.A research on the construction of distribution network automation for State Grid Yutian branch is conducted.Frist, the design of the distribution automation system, including the design details of main station, feeder line automation, terminal hardware and network communication;and how to realize distribution network automation.Second, fault detection technology based on Ant Colony Optimation(ACO)algorithm. The principle of ACO is introduced, then objective function is built up based on practical scenario, eventually focuses on the auto recovery technology with the help of ACO,and combines the research result with practical application in State Grid Yutian branch, analyzes the economic and social benefits generated from implementation of distribution network automation.Figure24;Table5;Reference60... |
