In the field of ship model experiment,towing tank can achieve the experimental goal of ship model hydrodynamic performance.For ship performance test,trailer is the most basic test tool,which can provide towing force to ship model,so that it can achieve uniform motion in the testing tank.On this basis,the relevant parameters of ship model are measured,and the prediction of ship navigation performance is achieved through the relevant parameters of ship model.The Trailer shall include control system,Total hydraulic device,brake and gear train system,test and data acquisition system and display system.For towing tank,the core equipment system includes track system,trailer system and wave elimination system.In order to ensure the design quality and application level of towing tank,the compatibility and coordination between the above systems must be fully guaranteed.Towing tank needs to be able to meet the requirements of ship model rapid test,while taking into account the seakeeping and maneuverability of ship model hydrodynamic test requirements.In order to meet the requirements of daily test,this paper takes the ship model towing tank of Huazhong University of Science and Technology as the research object,designs the length of the tank and the trailer system,mainly including the following contents:(1)In order to determine the length of the tank and the maximum speed of the trailer,this paper calculates and analyses the length data of the tank of the trailer at different maximum towing speeds and accelerations.(2)In order to determine the main engine parameters satisfying the maximum traction speed,the paper calculates the drag of the trailer and analyses the parameters of the main engine under various drags to select the optimal solution.(3)In order to design the control and total hydraulic device of the trailer,this paper starts with the working flow and principle of the control and total hydraulic device,analyses the parameters of the main hardware,and then chooses the reasonable control and hydraulic device scheme.(4)In order to measure the weight and the center of gravity of the trailer,this paper starts with the working principle of the trailer,draws the general layout chart with Autocad,and estimates the weight and the center of gravity of the trailer with the general layout chart,which provides reference data for subsequent modeling.(5)In order to determine the rationality of the structure design of the trailer,this paper builds the solid and line models of the trailer,and imports into Ansys Workbench,which gets the strength and vibration analysis of the trailer,lists the most dangerous locations,and analyses these locations.In this paper,the length of the tank and the trailer are designed,including the length design of the tank,the design of the trailer control and total hydraulic device,the overall layout design of the trailer,the strength analysis and vibration analysis of the trailer.It has guiding significance for the following ship model test.
