The spatial performance evaluation on urban green park space recreation service ability and layout optimization are of great significance to the construction of eco-livable city.The study takes Xi'an as an example,using remote sensing image data,statistical yearbook data,Baidu heat map and POI data,through GIS spatial analysis,mathematical quantitative model and empirical case analysis.Based on the perspective of population dynamic distribution,the spatial performance evaluation on urban green park space recreational service ability and layout optimization are carried out.Firstly,on the basis of systematically summarizing the relevant literature at home and abroad,the evolution process,spatial distribution pattern and influencing factors of urban green park space in Xi'an in recent 30 years are analyzed.Secondly,based on Baidu heat map,the spatial distribution characteristics of urban residents' activities are analyzed through urban population density index and spatial correlation index.Meanwhile,the SPOT and Google high-definition remote sensing images,Xi'an Statistical Yearbook and urban planning materials are used to measure the spatial distribution characteristics of urban green park space by service capability index.Then,the spatial performance of urban green park space recreational service ability is evaluated comprehensively in view of the coupled coordination model,and the influencing mechanism is analyzed.Finally,the strategies for optimizing the spatial layout of urban green park space are put forward.The main conclusions of the study include:(1)Based on remote sensing image data and statistical yearbook data,this study systematically combs the quantity and scale changes of urban green park space evolution in Xi'an.On the basis of dividing the evolution stages of urban green park space in Xi'an,the spatial distribution characteristics are summarized into three aspects: circle differentiation,biased aggregation and category difference,and the study conduct further analysis on the impacts of the historical culture,natural environment,social economy and institutional policy towards the spatial distribution of urban green park space.(2)Based on Baidu heat map and POI data,the population density index and spatial correlation index are used for analysis.It is found that the change of population density in different regions and in working and off days is both different.The distribution of population density in different periods shows obvious characteristics of agglomeration,whether on working or off days.Land use plays an important role on the spatiotemporal distribution of urban population density in different periods.The purpose of residents' activities,the difference of spatial functions,and the interaction between them leads to the spatiotemporal evolution of urban population density.(3)By service ability index and population density index,as well as the coupling coordination model,it is found that the spatial distribution feature of urban green park space and population density is characterized by higher coupling degree and lower coordination degree,and the spatial performance in different periods is significantly different.Especially in the nights of working day,compared with other periods,the coordination type space with service capacity deficit increases significantly.The reasons are that urban spatial structure,expansion mode,functional differentiation,site distribution pattern,urban planning control and other factors have an important impact on the spatial performance on urban green park space recreational service ability.(4)According to the spatial performance evaluation and impact mechanism of Xi'an,the study puts forward three spatial optimization paths of "cash-holding,increment and high quality",and puts forward corresponding spatial layout optimization strategies aimed at the core,periphery and periphery areas of the city.
