Minimally invasive surgery(MIS)is an important symbol of modern surgical development.The application of endoscopic technology solves the problems such as poor surgical field of vision under the condition of small incision,low degree of quantification of surgery and bleeding problems,deepening and expending the development of minimally invasive surgery.However,traditional endoscopy such as thoracoscopy and arthroscopy with single function and large equipment usually has number of components and complex connections,which disinfection is not convenient.Therefore,this paper introduces a kind of wireless medical endoscopy device which is portable,has wide applications and can be easily sterilized.The overall structure of the device comprises a portable operation handle,a wireless charging base and an imaging probe.The operating handle is a compact embedded image acquisition and processing device,which is powered by a rechargeable battery.The charging mode is wireless charging.One end of the operating handle is a USB camera.The wireless communication circuit inside the handle transmits the image acquired by the camera probe to the independent display device through WiFi.Wireless charging and wireless image signal transmission design framework ensures that the operating handle will not have a connecting cable or power cord.There is no bare metal terminals,thus easy to reach the surgical level of disinfection requirements.The portable medical endoscopy device is based on a wireless SoC system running under the Linux operating system.The device connects externally to a USB camera equipped with CMOS sensors,video processing circuit and LED lights.The system contains video acquisition that acquisites data using MJPG-streamer and transfers video to the host through WiFi.The doctors can get the image information in real time and record video as required.The system also has function of dimming by a touch pad.The snapshot can be uploaded to the host on pushing the button.The portable design has wide applications and can be easily sterilized.This design can effectively improve the quality of surgery operation and has a very positive role in promoting the development of minimally invasive surgical techniques and improving the application range and quality of endoscopic technology.
