Urban Development Programming

Ideal cities should be the perfect integration of industrial function and urban space.Industry provides cities with sustained vitality,while urban space serves as the foundation of industrial development.The city and industry is an indivisible whole,but they are classified as two independent subjects in the current classification of subjects.And the urban development,urban planning and industrial planning are performed by different departments.The separation of theoretical study and practical application result in the mismatching of space and time in urban spatial layout and industrial function.By analyzing the content and method of traditional industrial planning,this thesis summarizes the problems in the implementation process.In order to meet the needs of urban and industrial development,this thesis proposes the concept of industrial programming.From the perspective of the optimization of resource allocation,supporting urban development,implementation of industrial planning and coordination with urban spatial development strategy,this thesis further demonstrate the necessity of industrial programming,and categorize industrial programming based on the different effects of space form on city economy.Last,this thesis analyzes the mechanism of industrial programming based on the perspective of relationship between industry and city,and puts forward the idea and specific implementation steps and builds up a complete theoretical and method system of industrial programming.Industrial programming is programming the urban development from the perspective of industry,and combine urban construction and industrial development organically,and coordinate the relationship between space and industry.Focusing on the combination of theoretical knowledge and practical method,this thesis provides new vision,theory and method to the study of city development.With enclosed cases of city and industrial plan the author involved during thesis preparation,this thesis provide references for further practice.
